To keep your dog looking their best between grooming sessions, here are some tips:
Regular Brushing: Brush your dog’s coat regularly to prevent mats and tangles. The frequency depends on the breed, but most dogs benefit from brushing at least once a week, don't forget to get right into the arm pits and under belly as these are normally the areas most forgotten.
Check Their Ears and Eyes: Regularly check your dog’s ears and eyes for any signs of irritation or infection. Clean them as needed using dog-safe products.
Keep Nails Trimmed: If you’re comfortable, trim your dog’s nails between grooming sessions. If not, bring them to us for a quick nail trim.
Watch for Skin Issues: Keep an eye out for any signs of skin problems like redness, bumps, or excessive itching. If you notice anything unusual, contact your vet or bring your dog in for a check-up.
Stay on Schedule: Regular grooming appointments are key to maintaining your dog’s health and appearance. We recommend scheduling grooming sessions every 4-6 weeks, depending on your dog’s breed and coat type.
